With
Christmas just around the corner and all my Christmas shopping still
ahead of me I was thinking today of some of the best gifts I have ever
gotten at Christmas throughout my life. I remember the G.I. Joe tank
(it made "real life tank sounds"!) ... or the Star Wars board game with
mini X-wing Fighters as game pieces ... or the Maple Leafs toque and
p.j.'s (maybe that'd be considered a cruel gift to many) ... more
recently some of the greatest gifts have been the homemade gifts from my
kids.
But
last night as I sat at my table at MBC, looking out over all the
different people gathered together for our Harvest Christmas Banquet I
turned to Libby and said, "God sure has blessed us with an amazing
church!" And for me, I couldn't think of a better gift for Christmas!

and grace, your passion for Jesus, and your genuine care for each other
makes Harvest a very special place ... and a gift that continues to
grow!
